Who Says You Can’t Have a Superb Studio Head-shot?
As part of our portrait shoot-out, I had the opportunity to take some superb studio head shots! Apparently it’s in demand to let people know they don’t have a bad side! The set up for these superb studio head-shots were simple. We had a black blanket as the background so that when light hit our subject, it only hit our subject. Next, we set up some studio lighting in a triangular three point system, which means that there were three flashes coming from the sides of subject which lit up at the same time when my camera hit the trigger. Inside Photoshop I did very minimal editing to these superb studio head-shots. I cleared some acne from the skin using the healing brush tool as well as adding some clarity and contrast to the photos. Like I said, simple set up, and I think the results came out great! Check out these superb studio head-shots!
Big Shout out to Caryn Esplin for helping me to get these great shots. Check out her website here! http://www.carynesplin.com/
